The last of the Daleks, I was inspired watching an episode of Doctor Who the other night when the ninth Doctor found the last Dalek all beaten, rust and chained in a collectors vault. Its one of the best Doctor Whos from that season, so I put this together, there no chains in this final render of the image, it just didnt look right. So I decided that this is the Dalek just after it has taken Roses DNA and has broken from his bonds and is about to fully regenerate via the smashed PC .
Sadly while I was creating this image I kept saying Doctor ? The Doctor ! (In a really bad mock Dalek voice!) Class! My girlfriend thought I was mad. Enjoy and thank you for looking, the pleasures all mine
Nicely realized. Love the textures. Feels still alone and downcast, though -- hey, you don't get much expression from one eyestalk, but it's there!
(Heck, I'm almost reading this as during the confrontation with the Doctor, this "He may be my bitterest enemy, but at least I'm no longer alone" feel.)

Thank you, I did like the glow-reflection I got on the eye,it took a bit of fiddling to get the eyestalk at the right angle too. It is such a great episode, you have to love the Dalkes, they rock, I remember all those years ago when I was a kid putting a washing basket on my head and walking round telling everybody I was going to exterminate them!
The therapy worked though, and I’m fine now …
… all hale the Dalek empire!
